Texas Assessment of Knowledge & Skills (TAKS)
The TAKS test is designed to measure the extent to which a student has learned and is able to apply specific knowledge and skills at each tested grade level. All TAKS tests are directly aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and are administered in the following grades and subjects.
TAKS includes several forms that are designed to meet the needs of students served by special education. The forms include the TAKS-A, TAKS-M, and TAKS-Alt. For additional information on these assessments, go to the TEA website or click here. |
